: I had this message on before the crash. : I have a 1945 M Farmall. I tore it apart to fix it up. I've got it all back together again and it runs fine, but I have electrical problems. : When I shut the ignition switch off, it continues to run. : When I got the tractor it had a 12 volt coil & battery, but everything else was still 6 volt. The tractor was also negatively grounded. : Is this tractor supposed to be + or - ground? : Which side of the coil should be hooked to the distributer? : On this model the VR is mounted directly to the generator. There is a terminal on the VR labeled Bat. Is this wire supposed to go to the battery via the ammeter? Or should it run to the ign switch? : Should the coil wire run to the ign switch? : I could go on and on, but I won't. If anyone can help me, I can send you an email with an ascii art wiring diagram. : Thanks
