He is 99, so I can't wait too long! Although for 99 he's doing pretty good. Hope I'm doing half as well when I hit 80.
He's off of 340. On Straithmore farm lane - though it shows on google maps as Rochaleu lane (after him I assume - mangling the family name..)
And I THINK that's the name of the farm - Straithmore - would make sense, but I'm not sure.
He's been there since the 60's. A city boy turned farmer.
VERY interesting guy. Was in the navy, lots of great WWII stories.
If you ever get the chance to say hello - it's worth doing. He frequents some little cafe place. Can't remember the name of it. They sell soups and stuff - across from some old mill - on kind of a bad corner - you probably know it.
We went there for lunch ate soup and drank wine.
