Obviously you have never been around a Glock. There is no restriction on on cleaning solvents. Not that it matters, you never have to clean a Glock anyway, they have run them over 100,000 rounds without cleaning or malfunction. In my experience 1911s are picky eaters. Who cares if Glock dosen't have a lifetime warrenty, they never break, that sure beats sending a Taurus back to Florida, FedX overnight for $50. True, while beauty is in the eye of the beholder, the 40 S&W cal is a superior tp the 45 ACP, and the Glock has more than twice the payload of a 1911. That is in my mind, beautiful. For me, first a gun is a tool, Glocks are superior tools. Plus they don't come all dressed up and fancy like some of your guns, a real plus as I don't like all that gaudy stuff. Glocks are even the choice of former Marine R Lee "Gunny" Ermey.
