I didn't really believe in them until a few years ago. SWMBO's cousin got one and had to rub it in just after they came out, and his cost around $300. "My GPS this", and "My GPS that", was all he talked about. Then SWMBO and dawter bought a couple of them at the QVC store in Lancaster for $39.95. I really didn't think much of them until I started using this thing, and it has opened my eyes. Cous is PO'ed because the tightwad thinks he got gypped, and SWMBO doesn't have to ask for directions all the time. The only thing that torques me, is that we used to stick up a mast daily on patrol to update our SINS gear during our Polaris and Poseidon patrols. This was a multi- billion dollar goberment system that we used for navigation and targeting. And now I've got this $40 gadjet on my dash that's as accurate as the one we used when I was in the service and doesn't look intimidating at all. And this thing even talks to me. And it doesn't annoy me like the war department does. At least, not most of the time...
