The guy was HAGGLING. That's how haggling goes:
The buyer points out faults with the item, and then offers a lower price. The seller points out positives on the item and then counters with his own offer. You either come to a price both can agree on, or you don't.
That conversation would've gone exactly the same on the streets of downtown Athens, up to the point where you started acting like a kindergartner.
Haggling is NOT taking criticism of the item you have for sale as a personal insult and running everyone off your property on the end of a shotgun barrel.
If you're going to get so upset because someone offers less than you're asking, then just scrap the damn thing.
