i found a add for a 1974 john deere 830, 2 states over, so its close, looks pretty original with the usual paint wear a workin tractor would have, but clean overall,from what i can see in the pic i dont see any loader mount marks, priced at 4750, it says 3 cycle diesel, now im 99.99% assuming this should be 3 cylinder diesel, the same 40 hp diesel i have in my 301A , in fact the tractor looks like my 301, but jd is long known for doing things a little different, usually for a good reason, so i thought id get some input on the tractor, after all a 3 cycle diesel engine would have to have some pretty unique mechanical innerds lol
