My dad's grandfather bought one new in 1974. He still has it and it is our main working tractor on the farm. Until 4 years ago it did all of our haying and tillage but now we have two bigger tractors for that.
The 830 is a 3 cylinder and I am sure that was just a typo. We have hydraulics mounted on ours and we also occasionally put a loader on it. In all the years we have had it the only major thing that has ever happened to it is that a year ago it needed brakes. I guess they just disintegrated because they weren't made to last that long.
If the previous owner took care of it, you wont be disappointed.
