I owned several British cars, Jag, Austin Healey 3000, etc., and loved them all. But the time would come I'd ask "Why would anybody design it like THAT??" Seems like somebody had an idea once, and they said OK we'll build them like that and never never change a thing. Healey was the worst, loved it but hated it. My favorite was the gas tank,inside the trunk, beside the battery, with the spare tire mashing down from on top, rusting out the bottom. Leaking gas inside the trunk. I'd sit in there in the morning switch on the fuel pump, let it pump up, look at the sunrise,think "This could be me last one." and hit the start. Never did explode, but it could have.
