The NEF pardner Youth model is a good first shot gun for anyone young or old.It has a rubber recoil pad,20 gauge,3 inch chamber, modified choke,22 inch barrel,37 inches overall, 5 1/2 pounds.Walmart sold some with a plain butt pad.Saw some at a gun show,price is going up fast.Its hard to tell where the new ones will come from.H&R failed, came back as NE Firearms, sold to Marlin that sold to Remington.I see the case hardened frame is gone from the Remington made guns.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
