Some of that tail gating is due to some people lacking depth of perception or the ability know where they are. Some people lack hand-coordination and can"t even play volley ball, soccer, football etc. The honestly " don"t know where they are" in relation to everything around them. We all have seen from time to time the person just trying to keep pace with the rest of traffic. As they brake, accelerate, brake, accelerate 2-3 times a minute as they unde/over compensate. While every body else is maintaining a steady state. Too bad North American drivers don"t have to pass the drivers tests used in Finnland. It would be interesting to know how many drivers are impared with prescription drugs, illegal drugs, lack of sleep, high/low blood sugar, alcohol etc. I"ll bet 1/4 of the drivers out there are under some sort of influence.
