4020, When I was a kid, in the 1950-60, we had an IH H with a loader that we used for everything. Loading logs, removing silage from pit silo, loading manure. Cracked the Farmall in half, like yours, around the bell housing. Dad split the tractor and brazed it back together.
Guess this is still the risk one takes when adding a loader to a tractor instead of buying a backhoe.
My backhoe has power steering, 2 way hydraulics, roll cage. I wonder why we thought our add on loader was so neat with slow hydraulics, arm strong steering and a trip bucket.
