Farmall Cub 1948

I just acquired a 1948 cub. The carb has been replaced with a Zenith carb. It idles great but when you put a little load on it -it starts to miss and will eventually even out some. Mag seems ok . I wonder if it could have the wrong main jet since there is no hi speed adjustmet on this carb. Any thoughts on this would be welcome
