Hi Round here guys say the best part of a dodge is the Cummins and they messed it up bolting it to that truck. I know all trucks have problems, the guys round here complain about the 5 speed tranny dropping 5th, the steering being terrible and drive shaft/ axle UJ's failing regular. Never had one and wouldn't from what I hear from the guys that do. I Bought a 99 ford diesel got 500,00kms and still runs good . local guy had one with 900.000 on it and was driven like they stole it never touched inside the motor. only reason they stopped using it was some guy crashed into it on a trip down south. As others have said run from early 6 ltr diesel(03). and any that have not had updates to egr delete and head studs and have power chips fitted, from looking around this kills them pretty quick, they are a junk motor right out the box. Regards Robert
