A few questions on this product. First off we have a few old pistols/firearms that over the years some of the factory blueing has started to come off,no rust,just blueing gone. We searched the Internet for some kits, and called some places for prices of shipping, the cost was equal to or greater than the cost of the product. So today we went to a L&M store, that handles tractor parts,lawn equip. almost like Farm & Fleet store and they had this kit.
So we picked it up and was going to try it on a small pistol first to see if it works good.Then got to thinking maybe some of you on here tried it and had some ideas on this product. We would appreciate any ideas or tips you may have found that works for you that we might be able to try. Regards, LOU

Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
