You've got one turkey and I've got 500 to 1000 geese that come to my pasture several times a week. They stop to rest and eat and leave their turds. Sure they eat the winter grasses but it doesn't seem to affect the summer hay crop. I can see the wheat farmers not liking them in their wheat fields but it doesn't seem to affect the grass production. I allow them to stay as long as they want. They won't spend the night in the field but will return at daylight. They feel safe here and I suppose the same ones return every year and bring new friends along too.
