: : Farmer - I think he wants a gasoline engine oil for a Jubilee. Oils for gasoline and diesel engines are no longer interchangable. : You have not been reading the labels. Nearly all "premium" turbo oils produced today are rated for diesel service. I have been reading the labels. I used to use Castrol GTX or Texaco Havoline in my c. 1960-1970 diesel tractors, since these quality mass market oils were avilable everywhere and carried a CC/CD rating along with the gasoline engine rating. Once the newest gasoline service class came out (SH, if I remember right), all of these oils dropped the diesel service ratings. I inquired to Texaco's web site about this, and they informed me that the CC/CD service classes were obsolete and that the formulations of gasoline engine oils and diesel engine oils had gone in different directions. I've serched for oils with diesel service class locally, and the only ones I find with both diesel and gasoline ratings are the full synthetics or some (not all) of the synthetic blends. I'm currently using Valvoline's synthetic blend oil.
