Just bought a late 8N with no serial number behind oil filter on block. Just a smooth flat, raised blank area where the numbers should be. It is in fair shape and I am having a lot of fun working on improving it to a good looking work tractor. How will I be able to get an engine rebuild kit if these are missing? An experienced 8N guy said may be a replacment engine. Thanks
