I doubt that this logic will get you where you want to go. Firstly, a real salesman doesn't know about seasons. He knows you have an interest in what he's trying to sell. Also, this tractor sounds like a heavy consumer / light industrial machine, not an agricultural one. That means that the defined seasons in farming won't apply to the market the Kubota is meant to be sold to. I think the best bet is to have a figure that you are willing to pay for this particular machine in mind. Haggle up to that price, and if you can't get it for that, then walk away. Sometimes you'll get a phone call in a day or two from the salesman agreeing to your best price. Sometimes he'll sell it to someone else 5 minutes after you leave....
