Tractors in season?

I am interest in purchasing a tractor and have found a candidate at a nearby dealer. It is a used one, so I expect I might be able to haggle on the price a bit. It is a L-2900 Kubota w/frontloader. Regarding "haggling", since we are midway through June, would it be reasonable to point out that "most" people that are going to purchase a tractor probably have by now? That being the case, this one could be on the lot for either one day, or several more months.

I know that he can laugh me off, but I am wondering if there is merit in the logic that most "planned" purchases would have been done by now since we are in the growing season.

Any comments are appreciated.
