The 99s have a smaller turbo, smaller intake, smaller injectors and different computer than 2000 models., my brother has a 99 I have a 2000, he said yours takes of faster with the trailer than mine does by itself, he looked into it and this is what he found, I think you can get a computer for a 2000 and it will help.
