You know its funny every body says that the 2 cylinders are not smooth running but our 730 Lp running a No. 6 corn sheller with a load on it you can put a shingle nail on its head on the fender and it will not vibrate off the fender this is no bs. I would take a 2 cylinder over a Farmall M any day. at least JD built weight into there tractors unlike Farmall. I can go on and on we never had any drive line problems with anything run by 2 cylinders be it mowers, corn sheller, elevators, square balers, silage wagons, ect. We own a Farmall M too and it is the most worthless tractor I know of. It has 4 1st gears and one gear that is way too fast for pulling anything heavy down the road because it doesnt have enough power, It isnt even any good for raking hay because you cant go fast enough in lower gears and road gear is way too fast. I can go on and on.
