i think the op was written a little confusing. some guys can't tell weather it's the tractor or the mixer that needs the repair. i think it's the tractor and i don't think i would trade a 5240 for a 966 in any shape, rusty or not. also many of the tractors suggested below will probably run into similar pto problems as none are very big with the exception of the 1086, and as one poster said that tractor is pushing 40 years old. a newer stronger tractor may be in order if there is alot of hay or baleage in the mix.
