I can understand you issue. My mother refuses to get a pace maker because one of my IDIOT Aunts has her convinced that the pace maker will keep her alive after she has died. She does not want to be on any type of machine life support. I have tried to tell her that the pace maker is just to keep her heart beating regular, but no the Doctor and I are liars an the IDIOT Aunt is right. I gave up over a year ago. She has been back in the hospital three times but refuses to listen to reason. She does not have any metal issue she is just uneducated and will not admit it.
So you should talk to your mother and see if some one has her believing this BS about pace makers. It is a common miss belief on some religious sites.
