I`ve got some questions for the gurus around here. I have a 4010 gas and I am trying to swap everything over to diesel. Selling the 4010 and buying a diesel sound great, but geography and the limited market up here (Alaska) make that not likely. I have found a possible good deal on a 466T engine out of an industrial application, and I am wondering if it would be workable in any way. I know the 4010 will not stand up to 130+hp, but I would be willing to pull the turbo and convert it to a NA engine. Will it bolt in? Will 404 liners fit to drop the displacement to where it needs to be? I am willing to spend some money on this motor to drop the turbo and make it NA. Another option would be to put the 466 in my 4020, and put that 404 in the 4010. Any opinions?
