From Philly, go out to Harrisburg and use Rte 322 west. It's a great road for most of the trip, and usually not too much traffic. Should be about a three hour run.
As far as the show, it's one of the best machinery shows around. Most of the new technology is there, and some great demos going on all day. It's actually hard to see the entire show in one day. One highlight of the show- in the food alley near the top of the road, Penn State usually has a fried mushroom tent. Don't miss out on them....

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
