The other post below about going to natural gas reminded me I have to make a decision this week about either buying a tank for approximately $900 (500 gallon) or continue "leasing" gas companies tank. Getting a price of $1.19 gallon for filling your own tank vs approx $1.35-$1.45 (depending on company) for filling their tank. I use about 1,000 gallons a year so will take about 3-4 years to pay for. Guessing I should just bite the bullet and buy my tank? Is that would most of you using propane have done?
