O.K. now I understand what you're saying. Sorry guy's. The only real exposure I've had with a front loader was on our beautiful 44' model 2N that I had for years. I'm going to Attempt to make this work, I need to at least see how things line up. I've already ordered the hydr. hub assembly (before I joined the forum), the splined shaft is at the local machine shop being extended, the frame has been sandblasted/painted and is hanging from a I-beam in my shop. The bolster port and length of the extended shaft is what really concerned me. There is no obstruction from beneath the radiator or thru the center area of the bolster where I will mill. There is the hump on the bolster, but it looks like I will have about an 1" clearance above the hump. Proper alignment will be crucial for the shaft, but If the hub bolts up directly to the front pulley, it won't be terribly difficult to give it a try. If it doesn't spin like I hope, the only thing I'm additionally out is the cost of having the bolster milled. All the other cost I've already absorbed. I'm probably into this loader for $1,800 total and I just struggled finding a good loader within 300 miles of me. Thanks so much for all of your help/advise. If the 21" splined shaft spins smoothly, I think we'll try it and see I'll let you know how things line out. Greatly appreciate any feedback.
