When I was a kid, the neighbor had an old David Bradley walking tractor something like that. Pop had a roller that he had used when he built our home and had used it to roll the lawn when I was a kid. But, he left the water ballast in it one year, and it froze the bearings apart. So, a friend with a welder came over, we beat the ends back in, put the bearings back together, then filled it with concrete. Jack then welded a long tongue on it, and we used the seat off a dead Springfield mower for the roller. The walking tractor is long gone, but I still have the roller and seat, and have shortened the tongue to pull behind my lawn tractor. The grandkids still fight to ride on it when I roll the lawn.....
