I onced passed up a "almost mint" F-20 with all sorts of accessories and new tires for $350 about 25 years ago. Today another zero on there probably wouldn't buy one like it. I figure the way to beat this game is to just keep living.
As to the $5000 I have known guys who spent more than that per year on drugs destroying not only themselves but their families as well.
Sort of makes a $5000 F-14 look like a real bargin doesn't it ? :-)
