Well since you think it would be stealing well what the heck is the guy doing who put it there??? Isn't hunting on land that is not yours or you do not have permission to be on a form of stealing?? That said to compromise maybe he should take it down and then take it in to the cop shop as a found thing and put up a note saying it can be claimed at the cop shop and if not claimed by law it becomes yours
