I know the feeling at TSC. I know the manager and sales folks at the local one for near 20 years. This local manager feels a frustrated as the customers. TSC made them upgrade to a new larger store last year. The manager says the egg heads from TSC tell him what he can stock and how many of that item. He says they have to deal with stuff that was never a problem in the old store. Formerly they would order fast moving in season things like mower guards by the pallet load. Very handy when you wanted to rebuild an entire cutter bar assy. Now TSC corporate says the average guard sale is 4 units, so some egg head with letters behind his name only allows them to stock 4 of each model guard. Really great thinking for the guy wanting to replace an entire set of guards or if you walk in 5 minutes after the last guy bought all four and emptied the bin. Reorder and wait 2 weeks for the truck. :(
