Ok you folks aren't going to believe me. I've discovered that my hands and fingers crack about 15 minutes after I get a cold chill down the back of my neck and down my back. Whether the cold chill is caused by not wearing a scarf, getting out of the shower and being chilled, not wearing a heavy jacket, getting into a cold bed. Wearing a long sleeved turtle neck T-shirt during the day and one to bed has eliminated my cracked hands and fingers. Feeling much better now. The cracked fingers and hands have gone away without any hand creams or Vaseline. Just wanted to share this with all of you. I have told others about this I work with and it worked for them also. Hope it helps any of you that suffer from the same.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
