It had a steering rod which went down the left side and was used by an arm at the steering box to pull the double wheel tricycle shape front steering arm. : The engine was built to start on gasoline with a small tank and then switch over to some other fuel after warmup. The small gas tank was missing its cap and it had filled up with dirt, so we always used gasoline in the big tank. With the gas it had power like our IH Super M, but it didn't have enough weight or big enough tires to get the traction. : It had no aux. hydraulics as far as I can recall, and no 3pt. lift. Also I believe it only had a 4 speed transmission. : Anybody know what we may have had? It was fun, but wild to drive with it's power per weight. Never was concerned about the hard steering, 'cause always had mind on living through a day with it. It added many good experiences to a young boy, and I'd like to find a picture of it for a book of memories. Thanks and have a good week! : I sounds to me like you had a dc case, they were built from 39 to around 53. did it have a heavy looking cast iron grill? if it did im sure it was a dc.
