Well, I got the parts back from the machine shop to fix my Fast Hitch. I put everything all back together and then decided to try it out! I hooked on to my JD No. 5 mower, and everything looks like it should work! I took some measurments, and I have to make my self a new pto shaft tomorrow, and then all I will have to do is install the pitman arm (brand new) and sharpen the blades and I will be ready to mow, now I just need some grass....
What kind of oil should I put in the gear box on the mower? I have about 2 gallons of straight 90 weight, I think I might put that in there, but I wasn't sure!
Here is a picture of the mower for the back side, I had to call out my professional photographer, mom, she is THE best! :) I discovered that I can raise and lower the mower all with the hand lever, and without ever leaving the tractor seat, so I thought that was pretty cool!
