I don't have one, can't justify the 10 grand. I have a power inverter and hang a fan in the vent and that's good for most days. I usually idle less than 10 days a year total so there is no way I could justify one. If he does a lot of driving in the south that would change things tho. I have an Espar heater that works good for winter use. Dart used to offer them, but quit because they are such high maintenance that most just hang on the truck not being used. I tried to use those gas generators with a room airconditioner too, but that wasn't good either. The generators can't take the banging from the road and getting gas is a huge PIA. If I was going to do it today I would look carefully at one of the battery operated ones. They will give 10 hours of cooling without the engine.
