What brand of APU do you use on your truck? How do you like it?
My SIL is looking into getting a APU for his new truck and is looking for ideas.
With the $10,000 price tag I told him I would be looking into a Honda EU2000i or even a 3000 he could mount on the cat walk and a portable stand alone A/C unit that can be vented threw the window. Even with a tri fuel conversion so he could run the generator off LP and the mounting box/hardware I am thinking he could get it done for $3000 or less depending on what generator he chooses.
With the $150 estimated savings in fuel per week over idling the truck motor he needs to do something before summer gets here.
