We had TK APU on Ftl fleet, They are nice, set your thermostat and they start up and run till cab and sleeper are right temp, warm or cold and turn off.Saves a lot of fuel and Idling ware and tare off the main truck engine. Start back when temp gets out of range. Runs off trucks fuel tank and coolant. Need to watch the drivers don't turn them off when home for the weekend. Guess they just want the truck to be cool when they get ready to go. LOL.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
