The C is smaller than WC or WD. More like a B but had narrow front end and rear tread was wider. WC with hand brakes was not difficult to drive as the clutch was foot operated as was the cultivator lift (if you had a mounted cultivator). Coming to the end of the row you could throttle back, raise the cultivator with the right foot operated pedal, steer with steering wheel assisted by hand brake, turn 180 degrees, straighten out, drop cultivator and throttle back up. No clutching needed unless you wanted to stop for something but you had left foot free to do that in any case. We had the rear wheels set out wide at that point in the year. For cultivating those wide rows. By the time I was 8 years old I could do all of that with no problem
