Lou: My wife is a very bad diabetic. She has had false teeth now for several years. It took her 4-6 weeks to get her gums healed up/toughen up enough to wear the plates very long. She has to be very diligent about keeping any thing from under the plates or she will get blisters in her mouth. Then they heal slowly. She has had to not wear her plates for weeks to allow the blisters to heal.
As for your eyes. If it is just cataracts then you should not have much trouble but many diabetics have vein issues in their eyes that cause the trouble. That is not easy to do anything with.
