Friend of ours, years ago, was manager in a scrap yard that had trained guard dogs and a really high voltage fence. They brought in a new dog one day and had him take it around for a walk to 'bond' with the dog. Bob said about half way around the dog stopped and cocked his leg and let go on the fence. When the stream hit the fence he said the old dog yelped like it he had been shot and looked back at him like he had done something. Several days later he took the dog out for a walk once again, and it was the same story all over again. Bob said from then, until the time he got the dog back to the kennel, it would have nothing to do with him, but kept looking over his shoulder to see what was coming next. Bob said that all it took was the two shocks on the fence and the dog wasn't worth a crap to him as it was so afraid of him that he couldn't do anything with it.
