Loren" Your dam rite. I'm special. We have been buying wood from the same guy for years. As a steady customer, year after year, our family has been faithful customer, forsaking all other loggers because we were faithful buyers. What should have been his obligation to us was to let us know about the price change and why the price increase. He chose to say the price change was the mills doing. B.S. What the reason was He could sell wood to the mills for more money then we would be willing to pay. Sure as heck ,it is his right to go after the money and forsake his loyal customers. Like throwing all his customers "UNDER THE BUS so to speak". There is a right way of doing business and a wrong way. He chose the wrong way, as far as we are concerned. Were not at his mercy for heating material,. Like I said we are a strong family and self sufficient bunch. I'll bet the mills don't pay in CASH like we always do, so his income wouldn't be counted against him ,if he chose to do his business that way. When this buying spree is over for the mills price, he will find out his loyal customer base is gone.He will gain for a short time, but in the end he will lose bigger. Now that's why the rant,if you wish to call it that.
