A bit of a mire, now its all dry in there. 1 1/2 ton lever chain hoist, of inferior quality, a little help by driving in reverse, a small 6" black cherry, choked at the base, some 60' of chain, some extra junk on the back of the tractor too hook onto, the old backhoe mount, gave a high place to connect, and some hand digging.... friend who helped had his doubts, was pleased to see it worked, was on the fence after he saw it move the mower easily.
Various stages are pictured of the uh... um... well sir you seem to have the ", acute, chronic and or aggressive enstuckment"... my conjured terminology for the offending condition of ones tractor while working thus resulting in the above fiasco requiring a trip to the local H-F... LOL !
It does finally emerge from a 14 day old hole, nice heavy clay/topsoil, decayed vegetation, you'd never know it was tillable crop land, been almost 30 years now since the last crop, was better drained then, and will be again soon !
