A friend and I went to the get together at Ottumwa Saturday. We had went to the same gathering in 2010. The weather was perfect but there where few people there and not many participants either. It was kind of a let down.
Two corn pickers running,one guy with a JD 55 shelling corn, and two guys cutting soybeans.
They did about five minutes of threshing and maybe 15 minutes of corn shredding an corn shelling.
I am not complaining now. There was no charge and met some real nice people. Just seemed like there was not as much interest as just a few years ago.
