Roger: I did not mean to criticize the show. I know the weather played a big part in how it went. We also got the 3+inch rains last week too. I think the real pretty day hurt as many stayed home to try to get crops in themselves.
It really surprised me on how little of the corn crop is harvested between Cedar Rapids and Ottumwa. IT is way behind the last few years for sure.

It was neat to watch the blacksmith guy teaching those kids how to make things.
