We went Friday and was going to stay for the auction Saturday, but the wife kinda froze out so we came on home. Didn't sell anything, but there sure was some darned good food that those women made. There were a lot of venders & I'm not sure we got around to visiting every one of them. Didn't buy anything either, really was surprised there wasn't more tractor related stuff. Most of what we saw was lawn mower and flea market stuff. There were only about 4 tractors for the auction at 8:00, looked at the J.D. A but the rears were in pretty stressed condition and we didn't have the trailer with us & didn't need another tractor, so came down the road without it LOL. Lester, I'm sorry that I didn't get to meet you, maybe next year. Keith

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
