Yep I'm at it again,second year handicap deer hunting. Going to use the Remington semi auto 30-06 new to me rifle an 80 yr old with reconditioned sight (cataract removal) so I should be able to get the deer this year.Missed last year with my old eyes, in all my hunting years, I cannot recall a miss,but last year, 3 rounds at a deer I should have been able to hit with a rock. My son did some reloads for his 300 Winchester mag, so if I miss, (guess what), yep. Wish me luck, I'm 80 yrs old now,not sure of how many seasons I have left,but I do enjoy the hunt,but I would much rather be able to walk the woods rather than hunting from a vehicle.Whatever works for others I wish them luck.
