I think some people just don't want to know things are getting better,or have it so ingrained in their heads that they don't even try. My son in law was plant manager at an auto parts factory. He was courted away by Denso Corporation. He said they are expanding so fast that they can't even hire enough American workers fast enough. He said they aren't even applying. They start at $14 an hour. He said after 3 years, workers are at $17 or more and have full benefits. They've been hiring Burmese workers to fill the positions. The place where my youngest son works is sending him and anybody who works there and wants to go,back to school at the local Community College to study machining. I actually saw a billboard yesterday by them, wanting to hire machinists. I really think it's just a matter of not listening to the dooms day crowd anymore. Rub your eyes and come out in to the sunshine. In Michigan anyway.
