removing grease

I have recently redone a 1937 JD AR tractor and am
now in the mood to repaint. The only problem is that
60 years of grease and dirt has compacted over all
of the tractor. I've tried Wal-Mart degreaser
and powerwashing, which is working but so slowly. I
Still have to scrape it or wash it with gasoline.
I'm tired of scraping so If anybody knows any
better ways of removing old grease and grime, give
me a holler. Thanks.
