I do not plough ever thing VicS , some of the silage corn stubble gets chiseled . We combined The corn off the far side of this field, so I am ploughing the stalks down. I will plant oats and barley here next spring, under seeded to hay. I don't farm much land ,only have around 300 acres, and only work about 100 per year.So I can't justify the cost of going all no-till. More land in our area is ploughed now than in the past.Even some BTO crop dudes are turning some ground. Not sure of why, weed control, or compaction maybe. Bruce
