Thanks for the sane reply! Thought I might find a picture of our Kubota pulling a 15 ft Do-all. We also had a 4040 JD. The Kubota burns less fuel than the JD and will pull the do-all faster! The 40 series JD was a excellent tractor ours had 8800 hrs never overhauled. Just pump work, new water pump etc. But the New Tractors (not just Kubota) are a giant jump ahead. You can see on the screen what happens when you throttle back and shift up. Want to turn short, a new Kubota will turn shorter in 4 wheel drive than a 4040 2 wheel drive will. It will scare you the first time you try it! Where is a 125 hp JD tractor made? I know where our 50 hp JD is made. Same place as the Kubota. Vic
